Seron Industries utilizes cold forging (also known as cold heading) to produce high-strength, net-shape metal components without heating the material. This process is ideal for high-volume production where structural integrity and material efficiency are paramount. Unlike machining, which cuts away material, cold forging "moves" the metal using high pressure, which rearranges the grain structure to follow the part's contour, significantly increasing the part's strength. These components are critical in sectors where part failure is not an option, such as Automotive engine mounts, High-voltage electrical switchgear, and Industrial fluid valves where the pressure-retaining capability of the forged metal is superior to cast or machined alternatives.
